1999 Balloon Works, Firefly 8B-15, 90,000 cu ft
1999 Firefly/BalloonWorks red, white and blue “Pepsi” styled envelope with only 242.2 hours. Fresh annual inspection just completed on 07-02-2010 with no problems or repairs. Parachute top, no turning vents, Kevlar suspension cables and nomex skirt. Has never been flown hot as evidenced by the fact that the original temp tab is clear.
This envelope is mated with a 1990 Firefly/BalloonWorks 3.9 basket with four 10 gallon tanks (one master and three slaves). Tanks were inspected on 07/06/2010. All tanks have heaters and factory covers. Instruments include the standard Ball 655 and a Magellan 310 GPS. Extras include: Firefly/BalloonWorks dropline, Firefly/BalloonWorks refueling port (you don’t have to undo any fuel lines to refuel) and a Squeeze-EZ deflation aid.

Cost for everything that goes in the air

$7,000

Also available your choice of trailers.
- Trailer #1 is a “stake bed” style trailer customized for hot air balloon and can accommodate a fan on the tongue with the basket and the envelope stored on the 4 foot by 8 foot trailer bed. It has a 2 inch ball, and is fully equipped with lights (running, brake, turn signal and side marker lights). This trailer is an excellent choice for those desiring a easy to pull alternative to an enclosed trailer. $350.
- Trailer #2 is a silver 2005 Haulmark Transport V-nose enclosed trailer with barn doors on the back and a side door on the passenger side. It was ordered with extra height so a 6’2” person can stand up inside. It has been customized for ballooning with E-Track on each side wall, tie downs for helium tanks and a fan. $2,000.
If needed I can also provide a 7 or 8 hp 30 inch fan with tri-blade fiberglass props for $900.
